Emergency and Temporary Orders

If you and the opposing party need to have a temporary order in place to address custody, parenting time, or financial obligations while a case is pending, I can schedule a hearing and ask the judge to set those temporary rules.  The court can also address exclusive use of the house or other assets and other temporary matters.  These hearings do not happen immediately, but I can schedule a hearing as quickly as the court allows.

If your child is in immediate danger, I can ask the court for a quicker decision, granting you temporary custody and setting a temporary parenting plan that keeps your child safe.  If you are concerned that the other parent may disrupt the parenting schedule or remove the child from your home or the state without your permission, I can ask the court to order both of you to maintain the child’s schedule and usual place of residence while your case is pending.
